Our inviting, state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot animal hospital and veterinarian office – located at 6900 Congress Avenue, Boca Raton in Sunny South Florida – blends modern medicine with time-tested Eastern practices to provide the highest quality veterinary health and wellness care. Our holistic veterinarians provide an unparalleled, one-of-a-kind course of treatment for your pets, which may include acupuncture, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and/or pet stem cell therapy.

Holistic Pet Treatment

We develop treatment plans using a wide range of healing therapies. Our Zen-inspired Holistic Pet Treatment Center is where homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractics, nutrition and herbalism are used to get your adored pet onto the road to recovery.

Pet Emergency Care & Hospital

Pet emergencies can happen at any time, and we know that when your pets are ailing, you suffer too. So Calusa Veterinary Center’s doctors and technical staff are trained in pet emergency medicine and critical care and are on-site around the clock ready to deal with any pet emergency – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Partners and licensed veterinarians Dr. Andrew Turkell and Dr. Anthony Krawitz and their medical, technical, and administrative support staff including the pet resort and spa (boarding and grooming) -70 strong and growing - are prepared to serve the total needs of clients and their pets with tender, loving and professional care.

Our mission at Calusa Veterinary Center has always been to provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine available. To this end, in addition to our day services, we have been providing 24 hour emergency and critical care for the pets of the greater Palm Beaches and the Boca Raton area at our facility on Congress Avenue. Unfortunately, due to the current economic climate and costs involved in operating a state of the art, high quality, efficient emergency room, we have had to temporarily discontinue having a doctor on premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will continue to provide on-site, 24/7 nursing care for our hospitalized patients and pet resort guests, as well as a doctor on call, and emergency care during office hours.

Calusa Veterinary Center will be open for appointments 7 days a week, including Sunday! We will be seeing appointments Monday - Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm. We will continue to provide the highest level of care and service, with our critical care, 24 hour nurse supervised care, holistic and homeopathic center, canine rehabilitation, full surgical suite with ventilators and laser, nutritional counseling, full digital x-rays, endoscopy, ultrasound, in house laboratory, full dental suite with radiology and our pet spa and pet resort.
