DE GEORGE CHARITABLE TRUST $10 MILLION GIFT TO JUPITER MEDICAL CENTER TO ADVANCE CHILDREN'S AND WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE FOR NORTHERN PALM BEACH COUNTY
The Jupiter Medical Center Foundation announced a $10 million gift from The Lawrence J. and Florence A. De George Charitable Trust. The donation - the largest single donation in the hospital's history - paves the way for Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) to advance children's and women's healthcare services in northern Palm Beach County.

Stephanie Barge, a 27-year-old Palm Beach Sheriff's Department Deputy, recently made a tough - and potentially life-saving - decision. Stephanie tested positive for the BRCA gene, which indicates a predisposition to breast cancer. Taking a proactive role to preserve her health, Stephanie opted for a "pre-emptive" mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction. Along with her surgeons, John A.P.
