Thomas Dance Studio Philosophy
Thomas Dance Studio was launched by founder, Grace A. Thomas, in 1926, to introduce young students to the wonderful world of classical dance. The school's overall atmosphere was carefully constructed to provide correct and physically-sound training for students of all ages while building a respect and love for the art of dance. It was with these teachings, theories, curriculum, and philosophies, blended with new innovations, that the Thomas Dance Studio has come to represent the standard for excellence in dance training in South Florida.
Thomas Dance Studio is pleased to build upon this strong tradition of providing a solid dance education in the fundamental dance disciplines as well as introduce its students to the most updated methods and styles. We have assembled a highly qualified faculty who specialize in classes for students of all ages and levels in a professional and nurturing atmosphere. Our goal is to help each student reach his or her own best potential. Our certified, carefully selected faculty has been recognized for providing excellence in classroom work, technique, stage performance and choreography. Our school has provided the tools for hundreds of students to pursue careers in the performing arts including professional dancers for both stage and screen, teachers, and choreographers.
