Years ago when Boca Raton-based salon proprietor, Sandra Dominijanni, moved to Florence, Italy as a hair design apprentice` under Pino Cappasso she wondered how she could juxtapose her first love-cosmetology with a second-art. Today, she's established a full-service, salon sanctuary for men and women called Gallery White, situated downtown in the elegant new Palmetto Place retail/residential complex.

"Touring the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the Louvre in Paris and the modern art galleries of Miami and New York City, I noted the important role creativity played in demonstrating that personal care is an art form unto itself," says Dominijanni. Gallery White salon features sleek SoHo design with bare brick wall accents, state-of-the-art lighting and equipment, sweeping metallic mirrors and an airy loft-like space. "The client is our blank canvas."
