Screen printing is a direct print with ink on to the shirt that uses a screen with an image to imprint a pattern onto the shirt. It is popular in commercial printing because it is used to print images on many kinds of objects.

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric with designs stitched with thread. In commercial embroidery, designs are stitched with a computerized embroidery device. These designs are digitized with embroidery software to create a creative and unique design.

Heat transfers, also known as iron-ons, are images that can be imprinted on fabric using heat. The process of creating heat transfers goes as follows: there is an image printed on heat transfer paper in reverse, then the paper is placed on the cloth, then by pressing with a heat press, the image is transferred onto the material.
