Jobi Accounting and Tax Service is a family owned business started in 1991 by Jan "John" and Birgit "Bibi" Rudestedt. We moved to Spring Hill in 1993. Both, Jan and Bibi are members of the National Association of Tax Professionals; Jan is the Vice President of Florida Chapter and Bibi is on the National Board of Directors and is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS. We are very active in our local church. Amy Brosnan is the office manager. She answers the phones, sets up appointments, and handles the little things that keep our office running smoothly. She joined us in 2004 and we love having her here. She is a Notary with the State of Florida, a Paralegal, amember of NATP, serves as the President of the Florida Chapter of NATP, the Editor of The NATP Newsletter and serves as the Chairman on the Spring Hill Fire Rescue Fire Commission.

Bookkeeping is available for small businesses. We handle incorporations, payrolls, sales tax calculations, tax calculations, corporate tax returns, bookkeeping (monthly), and filing.

We are here year round to help handle questions about taxes even after tax season is over.

Go to your tax appointment well organized. Bring your income statements such as W-2s and 1099's and other income statements, Mortgage interest statements, Property Taxes paid, Student Loan Documents, documented mileage and separate your expenses. Also, look back in your checkbook to see how much you received from last Year's Tax Stimulus check (no, it doesn't affect your taxes, but we need to know anyway). Bring your Driver's License, Social Security Cards for you, your spouse and all your dependents. Careful organization will save you time and money come tax season!

Don't wait to the last minute to make an appointment, appointments fill fast, so make them quickly. Waiting until late March or April may delay the filing of your Tax Return and may cause an extension. We want you to help you get your taxes done on time!
