The captain is a Florida native. He has been exploring the area from Crystal River to Homosassa and Chassahowitzka and south to the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years and knows all the neat places of interest on the Homosassa River and adjacent water ways.
He has held a U.S.C.G Master License for over 20 years.

Our one-of-a-kind custom built airboat has an overall length of 23.5' by 9' in width, deck-over hull.
The engine, a 572 CI Chevy , 620 HP Thumper, is mounted on the deck to lower the center of gravity.
The boat is pushed by a belt-driven, counter-rotating reduction unit with twin Whirlwind propellers, which reduce the torque-over created by single propeller driven boats.
The inspiration for the artwork stems from the Captain's back ground and long time participation in
Tampa's Gasparilla Pirate Fest.
As a member of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, he wanted the theme to continue long after the Gasparilla festivities in Tampa were over.
