Welcome to Cedar Key Island, one of the few remaining Northwest Nature Coast fishing villages. Cedar Key is located on the West Coast of Florida about two miles out into the Gulf of Mexico nestled among small uninhabited wildlife refuge islands. Daily boat tours provide ample opportunities for bird watching and photograpy of such abundant wildlife as herons, egrets, pelicans, ospreys, eagles, roseate spoonbills and ibis. Cedar Key is a fisherman's delight with willing guides who can help you catch that trophy tarpon, grouper, or redfish, collect blue or stone crabs, scallops or oysters, observe turtles, manatees, playful dolphins, or hunt for sand dollars and horseshoe crabs.
Our accommodations are fully equipped two bedroom, two-story town homes located in the heart of the Historical District and within easy walking distance of Dock Street with its restaurants, shops and lounges; the children's playground, the beaches, the Marina, quaint shops on Second Street, and the Post Office.
With a full kitchen, laundry facilities, room to park your boat and car, Wi-Fi access, and a gas grill in the backyard, you need only visit the grocery store. Come and enjoy sunrise from your own private balcony. Walk a couple of blocks to view amazing sunsets. Enjoy star gazing or a picnic on the beach-all within blocks of your door!
