Dr. Burt Bertram has been in the practice of counseling and consulting in the Orlando area since 1972. His professional efforts center on assisting people to productively identify, understand, and address the issues that are affecting the quality of their lives and the satisfaction and/or productivity of important relationships (personal or business).
He has a Doctoral Degree in Counseling (Ed.D.) from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Central Florida.
Counseling – Burt Bertram is a Florida licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He provides clinical counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
Organization Consulting – Burt Bertram provides a range of consulting, facilitation, coaching, and training services to individuals, groups, teams, boards, organizations, and communities. Group Facilitation: He facilitates staff retreats, planning and goal setting meetings, and team building initiatives. Coaching: Burt provides performance improvement coaching and consultation to individuals. Training: He offers a wide range of personal, interpersonal, and management development workshops and seminars. Conflict Resolution: Utilizing his counseling skills, Burt assists individuals and groups to productively identify, address, and resolve sensitive interpersonal differences and conflicts.
Teaching - Dr. Bertram is Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Studies in Counseling Program at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, where he teaches a wide range of graduate courses in the Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling Program.
Whether serving as a counselor, consultant, group facilitator, coach, trainer, or professor – Burt is most professionally satisfied when he is helping resolve sensitive, complex, and important “people-related” issues.
