Technologically advanced, impressive in its scope and unparalleled in its natural beauty, Barrett Farm of Florida is a premier equestrian training facility. Situated on 45 acres in what is considered to be one of Central Florida’s environmental jewels, the St. John’s River Watershed, Barrett Farm is refreshing and inviting to both horse and rider. Our exceptional staff provides the highest standards for horse care, and our trainers are focused on helping riders achieve their goals whether modest or ambitious. At Barrett Farm of Florida, your only limit is your commitment.
Our state of the art covered arena truly sets us apart. Riders train in a 34,000 square foot ring with a GGT footing and mat system fully equivalent to the footing installed for the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky. The footing improves safety and stability and boosts confidence for both horse and rider.
Barrett Farm is more than a training and boarding barn. It is a comprehensive teaching facility set up for classroom and field training. One of our trainers, Laura Barrett Gurtis, is certified as an experiential learning instructor by the Epona Center. Our teaching lodge is A/V equipped so that visiting clinicians can utilize a broad spectrum of teaching tools. Our manicured training areas co-exist harmoniously with the pristine beauty found along our trails, allowing Barrett Farm to offer broader experiences for both horse and rider.
