As of June 12, 2010 Operation of wireless microphones in the 698.000-806.000 mhzfrequency rangeis prohibited by the FCC. This range was sold to wireless communication providers and emergency services
for other uses, therefore making the operation of microphones in that frequency range illegal. The link at the bottom of the pageis for an article published in the Florida Baptist Witness recently,
and is about that change and thechallengesthat churches face when confronted with having to replace these wireless microphones.
