About Lighthouse Christian Academy
Lighthouse Christian Academy is here as a lighthouse to the families of Key West and the Lower Florida Keys. Child care is obviously an important choice. Our biggest desire is that the child development that's available here from infant to pre-K (including Kindergarten Preparation) is a true educational experience.
Everything we do is with excellence as child care center should be. Quality is our requirement of ourselves and we maintain the highest professional standards.
When we began, Lighthouse Christian Academys leaders chose to voluntarily become state certified (License # C16MO0014). We have several certified teachers on staff and stand ready to answer any further questions you may have about certifications, awards, etc. Perhaps your question is answered in our Administration section.

He talked to the children about “Stranger Danger”, “Respecting Authority”, “Calling 911″, Being buckled up in our car seats, and “Fire Safety” This was a great conclusion to the lessons we have been learning in our classes this month. Thank You Deputy Lavache!

Once a year our center is accessed by the Early Learning Coalition. They observe the teachers in action. The center is graded in several areas such as the physical environment, materials available, records kept and nurturing teachers. When the assessment was completed by the Wesley House Team, we were awarded a score of 98% out of a possible 100!
Thanks to our teachers for all their hard work and the parents for all their support for making Lighthouse Christian Academy a great learning center for the children!
