The History of Trout & Leigh Insurance, Inc.
Established in the summer of 1956, James Leigh started Jim Leigh Insurance. 1969 James Leigh purchased Trout Insurance forming Trout & Leigh Insurance, Inc.. Jim Leigh's daughter Marty came to work for the agency while attending high school & college. After her successful banking career became the Outside Sales Commercial producer. In 2002 Marty Hix purchased the agency. Over the years the agency has grown to one of the premier insurance agencies in Bradenton. The agency has over 85 combined years experience in the insurance profession.
