December is First Coast No More Homeless Pets Food Drive Month!
Did you know that First Coast No More Homeless Pets has a food bank? And that they give families in need dog and cat food for a whole month? It is our goal this month to help gather bags of dog and cat food for this worthy cause! We are hoping to have 30 bags of food (15 dog and 15 cat) by the end of this month. If you dont have time to stop by the facility, you can also make a cash donation at www.jaxpetfoodbank.org. Please get into the giving spirit this month and donate!

What is AAHA?AAHA stands for the American Animal Hospital Association which is a professional association of veterinary hospitals founded in 1933. It is the only organization that provides accredidation for veterinary practices.
What are the requirements for accredidation?To be accredited, hospitals must comply with the Standards of Accredidation which includes providing a high quality of care for patients, excellent customer serice and many other items. There are 46 mandatory standards and about 900 other standards of care. It is a great opportunity for us to have an outside independant consultant provide us with feedback. We are evaluated every 3 years.

How does our AAHA accredidation benefit our clients and their pets?The AAHA standards we follow were developed with high quality care in mind. We have worked hard to create, implement and update our protocols and to periodically review the things wer're doing to amek sure we are up-to-date and being the best we can be.
