Dr. Rose and her staff takes a long term view regarding treatment planning to ensure our patients can achieve Healthy Teeth and Gums for their lifetime. Her philosophy is to treat conservatively while providing patients with the best options to achieve optimum dental health.
 
Research shows that oral health, preventive care and regular visits to the dentist is very important for good overall health. The Academy of General Dentistry says there is a link between gum disease and heart problems, and the American Academy of Periodontology says severe gum disease can increase blood sugar, increasing the risk among diabetics.

Biography   
About Dr. Rose

Dr. Rose has been practicing dentistry for more than 14 years. She is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry where she received a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. She also has a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Howard University.

Dr. Rose worked as a junior faculty member in the Periodontal Department at Howard University College of Dentistry from 2005 to 2009 and 2011 to 2013 in the Orthodontics Department.

Dr. Rose is actively involved in community service and has provided service to several elementary schools in the DC metropolitan area. She also worked in a remote area in Quintana Roo, Mexico where she spent 2 weeks providing preventative dental care for the underserved of the community. Most recently, Dr. Rose visited and provided dental education for the students and faculty at Oak Hill Elementary School in Orlando.
