LifeSkills South Florida is a residential drug treatment facility that is located outside of Miami, Florida. The company was founded in 1991 and since then has become one of the leading mental health and addiction treatment providers in the region. The core programs offered in it's residential treatment program are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, assertiveness training, anger management and relapse prevention. Therapy is offered in both individual and group settings. LifeSkills South Florida also owns an outpatient treatment location in Delray Beach, Florida. Common coditions treated at LifeSkills South Florida include drug and alcohol addictions, depression, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders. The company welcomes most major insurance plans, however, will not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
