Orlando Hood Cleaning has been serving the greater Orlando, Florida area for years. Their team of professionals have been highly trained in the art of hood cleaning and take great pride in their work.
The process of a professional hood cleaning is difficult and very messy. If a commercial kitchen has not had their hood cleaned on a regular basis, the grease and grime can build up and cause a fire hazard.
It is not recommended for a commercial kitchen to rely on their employees to do a thorough hood cleaning. Not only do they have the proper training, they most likely don’t have the equipment it takes to really get in there to remove all of the grease and grime.
Our process of hood cleaning begins with covering the stove with plywood to protect the burners. We then put plastic sheeting on the hood that drains into trash cans when we use our pressure washer. First, we apply an environmentally friendly chemical to break down the grease and let that sit for a bit.
In the meantime, one of the workers goes up to the roof to inspect the vents and shafts and prepare them for cleaning as well. We then take our commercial pressure washer and proceed to hose off the grease. The water will run down the plastic sheeting into the garbage cans.
Once done, we will dispose of the grease in the garbage cans. We then begin to shine the chrome hood to give it that “like new” appearance. If there is spillage on the floor we will mop it up.
As we are doing this process, we take before and after pictures to give to the client. We will place a sticker on the hood indicating the date and years the cleaning was done. This is great for the restaurant to be able to show their insurance company and health inspectors.
