Kevin M. Cobbin graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. in American History. He obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Miami School of Law. He began his legal career as Assistant Public Defender in Jacksonville, FL where he successfully defended and tried hundreds of criminal cases. He moved from the Public Defenders Office to hone his skills in the areas of Personal Injury and Family Law at the Davis Law Group, P.L. He is admitted to both the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida. He has served on the Executive Board of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association. He is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Jacksonville Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Association for Justice and the Virgil Hawkins Bar Association. Attorney Cobbin is an active participant in the Justice Teaching program which helps to educate youth about the American Justice System. He strives to present his clients a down-to-earth view of the law, and discusses legal issues in plain English in an effort to help clients understand. Attorney Cobbin has developed a sensitivity and genuine compassion for the difficulty clients experience in issues related to criminal cases, personal injury and family law.
