A sleep disorder can significantly impact a person medical, financial and social well being. Any disorder which results in excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) can result in poor work performance, lack of interest in social activities, and increased risk of accidents.

There are more than 80 recognized sleep disorders. Common sleep disorders include: Sleep Apnea -blocked and interrupted breathing during sleep Restless Leg Syndrome and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder-leg and/ or arm movements before or during sleep
Narcolepsy-severe daytime sleepiness, resulting in sudden sleep onset, sometimes accompanied by muscle weakness
Insomnia-inability to fall asleep or to remain asleep
Parasomnias-unusual behaviors during sleep, such as sleepwalking, teeth grinding, REM Behavior Disorder and other disruptions to sleep.
The staff of the Central Florida Sleep Centers can coordinate and guide you through the diagnosis and treatment of your sleep disorder. Our physicians and clinical staff have received specialized training in sleep medicine. Our services include:
Complete physician consultation, including sleep history and physical
Positive Airway Pressure Ventilation for treatment respiratory sleep disturbances
Coordination of referral services to other professionals for specialized disorder treatment, such as for dental devices, stress management, cardiology, or neurology.
Our customer satisfaction surveys consistently rate both our staff and overall testing experience as “Excellent”. Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest quality service and to surpass the standards required by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. All testing is considered as in office diagnostics. We have contracted with most major insurance companies and will obtain necessary pre-authorizations required prior to testing.
