Tim Redmond Investigations is based in Lakeland, Florida and provides private investigative services, polygraph examinations, process service (10th JudicialCircuit)and handwriting analysis to the central Florida area including Tampa Bay, Orlando, Daytona Beach as well as Fort Myers and Sarasota. The agency is also approved by the Florida Justice Administrative Commission to provide various criminal defense services for court appointed attorneys in criminal cases. Tim Redmond as been a polygraph examiner since 1981 both in the law enforcement and private sector; he also has over 20 years of investigative experience. His polygraphclients include theCriminal Justice Training Center at Polk Community College, 10th Judical Circuit Public Defenders Office,private criminal defense attorneys and other criminal justice agencies.He also administers Post Convicted Sex Offenter Tests on juvenile offenders for the Mid-Florida Center.
Although trained and experienced in a variety of polygraph testing formats his primary test in criminal cases is the UTAH Single Issue Comparison Test format using directed lie comparison questions which research shows has the highest validity (93%) for exoneration examinations. He also complements his examiner scoringwith the OSS 3 Scoring software.
Redmond is approved by the Florida Justice Administrative Commission (JAC) to provide investigative, mitigation, process services, and polygraph exams for attorneys representing indigent clients.
Criminal defense attorneys for whichhe has or is currently working on defense investigations or administered polygraphexams include : Julia Williamson, Lawrence Shearer, Karen Meeks, David Carmichael, Ronald Toward, Catherine Combee, Kevin Cox, Cachina King Mack, and William Fletcher (Sebring). Howardene Garrett and Amy Thornhill of the Public Defender's Officer for the 10th JDC.
Mr. Redmond is a Notary Public which allows him to take sworn statements during his investigative assignments.
Tim Redmond is also a Certified Process Server appointed for the 10th Judicial Circuit Court.
Questioned handwriting examinations are also conducted by Mr. Redmond.
