Since opening in 2006, we have saved Brevard residents over $1,872,556.00 and this amount increases by an average of $1700.00 per day!
Welcome to Park Avenue Cleaners. Where any garment is dry cleaned and pressed for only $2.25 at our main plant or $3.49 at one of our drop locations. Men’s dress shirts are laundered for only $1.95. It’s our goal to give all of our customers the same quality and service they have grown to expect from the higher priced cleaners, but for up to 50% less.
How do we do it?
We start by using over 14 years of dry cleaning experience and by processing all of our dry cleaning on site, in state of the art machines. We designed our facility to handle the high volume of clothes needed to be profitable at a lower price, without sacrificing quality, accountability, or cleanliness. Then we removed the inefficient ideals from the typical "higher priced" dry cleaner's process, to reduce our expenses.
It's not rocket science. Just a different way of doing business. We leave the rocket science to our friends at the Cape.
Our first discount dry cleaning plant opened, in Orlando, on Dec 26th, 1996. Our price per garment was only $1.50. Our store was one of five original "discounters" in Orlando at the time. We were not a franchise, but rather a part of a venture started by a group of business investors with dry cleaning expertise. Their experience and knowledge goes so far back, their original delivery truck was horse-drawn. Seriously!
Each of the five stores was owned and operated by individuals trained in the art of quality discount dry cleaning. We learned how to be efficient, create a demand strong enough to pull customers from up to 20 miles away, and keep expenses down.
As time went by, some of the owners either sold their stores and/or ventured into opening multiple locations in other cities. We were one of only two original owners to keep our store for over 10 years. While others tried to capitalize on the equity their business had earned over a five year period, we chose to keep our business, continue to learn from it, and then expand.
From 1996 to 2004 our per garment price was only $1.50, then $1.75 from 2004 to 2008 with our last price increase in 2008. We do not foresee another price increase for several years, if not longer.
Now, more than ever, it makes sense to make us your dry cleaner.
