This is NOT your basic Band Camp! Discover, Explore and Express your true Creative Self at Interplay
Interplay Jazz provides a unique holistic approach to learning how to improvise and create music. With typically one mentor/master teacher for every three or four students, and teachers providing instruction on a wide variety of instruments (piano, bass, drums, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, voice), students receive personalized attention and guidance. Each student will have many opportunities throughout the week to play with other students and faculty in rehearsals, jam sessions and public performances. Daily yoga and meditation classes are fully integrated with jazz improvisation and theory, ear training, repertoire, jazz history, master classes and much more. Delicious and nutritious meals provide the necessary fuel
for feeding creativity. Join us for a joyful week of jazz!

The Jazz Arts Music Society

has been formed to encourage the performance, promotion, preservation and perpetuation of America's original art form - JAZZ. This art form has been recognized by congress as a national treasure.
Our members are a group of enthusiasts who believe that jazz music should be defined in broad enough terms to include all eras, styles, and artists as represented by the elements that create the definition of jazz.

Become an active participant or simply enjoy the variety of concerts and activites we have to offer. When you consider the many benefits of belonging to this organization, the annual dues are nominal. Your support of JAMS also will help preserve this great American art form by educating young people in our community - the artists and audience of tomorrow.
