About Yellow Cab

Yellow Cab of Pensacola enjoys one of the richest histories of any livery company in the United States. Originally founded as Tucker Transportation in 1902, the company provided disembarking passengers from the port of Pensacola with horse drawn transportation. Tucker Transportation began providing taxi service to the Pensacola area in 1925.
Yellow Cab was a competing cab company that operated out of the old San Carlos Hotel at Garden and Palafox Streets, from 1935 until it merged with Tucker Transportation in 1975. Since then, the company has sought to be the premier transportation provider in the Northwest Florida area and live up to it heritage of providing quality service to community residents and visitors.
Pensacola’s largest and longest running cab service is also Pensacola’s most technologically advanced transportation solution, proudly serving Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties.
