The PrimeRite pump is MWIs line of self-priming, end suction, centrifugal trash handling pumps. These pump units are capable of flow rates to 3150 gpm, total dynamic heads to 180', and solids handling capabilities to 3".
MWI's PrimeRite also uses a oil bath mechanical seal that allows for dry running, making it the right choice for the handling of the inconsistent flows found in sewer by-pass pumping and job-site dewatering. All units are available skid or highway trailer mounted with integral lifting bracket, and fuel tank.
The Rotoflo rotary lobe pump is a self-priming, valveless positive displacement pump perfect for groundwater applications including wellpoint de-watering. Available for purchase or rental, the Rotoflo is unrivalled in its ability to be repaired easily on-site. The quick release cover can be removed without special tools to give fast access to the inner parts of the pump without the removal of pipes, drives or other parts of the pump unit.
MWI's extra heavy-duty submersible, centrifugal trash pumps are built with muscle and strength to handle the most difficult pumping jobs. The impeller is hydraulically driven through a short internal shaft with bearings directly connected to a hydraulic motor, all sealed to operate trouble-free underwater. There are no priming problems and no need to worry about the pump running dry - these trash pumps are designed to run dry without damage to the components... your guarantee of dependability as well as safety.
An axial flow pump consists of a revolving impeller and stationary diffuser vanes. Water enters the pump through the intake bell. Flow straightening vanes in the diffuser section prevent whirling inside the bowl, therefore the flow is essentially in a straight line parallel to the axis... thus the name: axial flow pumps. This straight flow characteristic holds water friction to a minimum, resulting in the most efficient means yet devised for high volume pumping.
MWI introduces the newest addition to its lineup:
The Silent Partner is the high-performance, automatic-priming, run-dry PrimeRite pump with a specially designed, sound attenuation enclosure. These units are perfect for residential areas, near hospitals, government buildings, or schools and wherever else quiet operations are required. The design of the Silent Partner is optimized for pumps that are run hard in difficult environments. Silent Partners are quiet, run cool, provide easy access to all components, and are heavy duty.
