In 1989, prior to opening our doors, we began researching the best products and services to use we concentrated on understanding and picking the highest quality products and techniques - recognizing we live in a state that takes its toll on our skin.
We found the best suited products to be the Dermalogica Skin Care System which was started in 1986 when the founders of The International Dermal Institute (the postgraduate training facility for skin care professionals) decided to do something about the serious lack of results-driven products on the market.
We were impressed with their commitment when they refused to use artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, S.D. alcohol, lanolin or mineral oil in their products these ingredients are favorites in the industry due to their low cost, despite links to numerous skin problems that were well understood.
