Barr, Murman & Tonelli, P.A. was founded in 1975 in Tampa, Florida. The firm initially represented insurance carriers in the defense of automobile, premises liability, medical malpractice and construction litigation claims. Over the years we have added representation in the areas of workers' compensation and general practice.
We concentrate in the representation of self-insureds in both liability and workers' compensation forums. We represent clients throughout the State of Florida and in the Federal Court system. Our offices are equipped with the latest in computer programming, including electronic research, word processing and computer analysis. Our support system allows us to interface with clients' computer systems upon request.
Our attorneys are experienced practitioners who participate on a regular basis in technical seminars, continuing legal education, and law firm seminars. We provide clients with seminars on current issues and updates in the law.
While the firm has vast jury trial experience, we also make a strong commitment to alternative methods of dispute resolution, including Mediation and Arbitration. The firm has eight Certified Mediators who offer creative solutions and alternatives to litigation.
We understand and appreciate the cost of litigation. We work closely with our clients to control these costs and incur only those expenses that are necessary to fully represent our clients' interests. We accommodate the specific billing requirements of each client.
