Yvonne Shahoud has been painting murals in South Florida since 1996, when she opened her business, Mural, Mural On The Wall, Inc.. Prior to going into business for herself, she worked as a professional freelance commercial illustrator for many large companies, such as J.C. Penney, Burdines Department Store, J Byrons, Jordan Marsh, and many independent clothing manufactures.

While freelancing, she also held a full-time job as furniture illustrator for the Levitz Furniture Company for 17 years, and has been commissioned to paint many life-like portraits in oil and pastels.

It is most important that whatever Yvonne paints for her clients, the work is of the utmost quality. "It is most important to me that my clients are pleased with the end results of my work. After all, they expect to live with the artwork for many years to come, so I want them to be happy that they chose me to paint for them. I could not sign my work with pride unless I were certain that I did a truly quality job."

Yvonnes murals are painted with quality acrylic artists paints which are pretty much odorless. The paint dries quickly, and is safe around children. The murals may easily be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution on a damp sponge, if needed. They hold up remarkably well for many years.
