WELCOME to my blog (never thought I’d say that!). I will be trying to provide up-to-date income tax news and reminders. I wanted to use this first blog to thank my clients and to introduce some exciting news.
As you may have heard, I’m moving to a new office January 1 and I’m getting excited about the plans we have for making this year’s tax experience more comfortable for our clients. The new office (6358 Cypress Gardens Blvd) is in the Highpointe Center. We are two door down from Hurricane’s Restaurant.
The new office is spacious compared to my previous locations. It will also allow me to expand my business. DON’T WORRY. I will still give my clients my personal attention. But I will be adding some new preparers and a receptionist.
I will be training the new preparers, and they will be handling most of the new clients we hope our new location will generate. In addition, my sister Trish will continue to take care of her clients and provide first line support when I’m not available.
We are interviewing now for a receptionist. She will be taking calls, making appointments and fulfilling client requests. Please bear with us as we get our office procedures worked out. My goal, as always, is to provide the highest level of personal service possible to all my clients.
As most of you know, I had a serious health challenge last year. But I’m back. I have made some accommodations to my illness. Because I want to focus my energy where I’m most effective (doing your taxes), I am reassigning other administrative functions to Trish and the receptionist. Doing this will help me provide you with the same level of tax preparation service without killing myself. I will be scaling back my hours somewhat, so I do encourage you to call AFTER JANUARY 1 to start scheduling your appointments.
Also, you’ll be seeing my name around more. I plan to do some advertising. We will be doing a referral program again this year, so start making a list of folks who need a good tax preparer. Stay posted to our blogs for more details on our upcoming Open House and our referral program.
