Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology is a practice comprised of physicians, nurses, radiation therapists, certified dosimetrists, physicists, and administrative personnel. Everyday we do our part in this ongoing battle against cancer. Many of us have been touched personally by cancer in our lives. Although this is our profession we are committed to this battle on a much deeper level. Through our community involvement we continue our fight against cancer. Recently, we participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk which was held in Tampa.
As you see in the picture we had a great turn out. We had a wonderful time and we felt good about being able to give back to the community.
Currently, we are gearing up for Relay For Life. Relay For Life is an event to raise money for all types of cancer. Through our community involvement we hope to show how passionate we are as a whole in this fight against cancer. We are not only professionally committed we are personally committed and welcome any and every opportunity to show our passion for this cause. We will be updating our website frequently to keep you informed of all community projects we will be involved in.

As a whole Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology’s purpose is to treat a wide variety of cancers using a wide variety of treatment techniques. As we all know treatment options are constantly changing with technology. Recently, Dr. Steel and Dr. Kahn have become involved with a treatment option called Cyberknife. They were on Channel 10 January 12th and February 9th, 2010 discussing treatment of cancer with Cyberknife. In addition to treating and curing patients both these physicians take a personal interest in educating the public to the newest treatment options available. You can see our commercials as well as catch these physicians on channel 10 to learn more about this treatment option.
