My name is Larry Hoekstra. I moved into this business because I love this work and I love working with people. I have 15 years of experience as an apartment maintenance supervisor. I have been in the construction industry for 15 years and am a State Licensed Certified General Contractor. I am also a 5 year State Licensed Insurance Adjuster and FEMA Certified.

Your Handyman Doesn't Do

From time to time I am asked to do tasks that I do not specialize in. The following is a respectable list of items that I just don't do.

Handyman Important Tip

If an insurance company learns that prior home repairs were not performed by a licensed contractor prior to storm damage claim, your claim can be denied. Its called CWP, Close Without Payment. Beware of regular individuals working off of temporary occupational licenses. It does not mean the person is licensed to do the work or even knows what he's doing. It simply means he's able to do business in the area.

A true handyman is a craftsman who has been trained in carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, a/c, plumbing, and most other tasks required.
