Still Waters of Lake City began in May 2001 birthed from a vision of Pastor Lonnie Johns, Senior Pastor at Christ Central Ministries. Pastor Lonnie and Threasa Hysell R.N., along with others in our church and community began the process of evaluating and meeting the needs of the elderly in our community.

Still Waters is for seniors who are uncompromising. It is an environment that focuses on promoting wellness, peace of mind, security and quality of life. It is a supportive community, where residents can expect to be treated with style and grace.

Assisted Living at Still Waters is not a "Nursing Home". Our assisted living program is an alternative for seniors who may require more support than would be available at an independent retirement community, but do not need the intensive medical and nursing care provided in a standard nursing facility.
