The caring team of professionals at Quantum Vitality Centres is dedicated to help you reach YOUR health goals. They offer skill and expertise that spans the chiropractic wellness spectrum. Dr. Peter Szakacs, (pronounced "Say - Catch") is a chiropractor and the clinical director of QVC. "Dr. Pete" (as most of his patients refer to him) is committed to helping you decide what level of health care is right for you.
In our practice, we consider wellness care to be the use of natural methods, without drugs,to get rid of PAIN, and to restore and maintain your health.
The four steps of our wellness approach are:
1. Reducing the destructive effects of stress
2. Reducing chemical toxicity
3. Improving oxygen saturation to the tissues
4. Removing undetected neurological damage
1. Reducing the destructive effects of stress:Prolonged stress is harmful because of its effect on the stress glands called the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands produce hormones that influence sleep, digestion, weight gain, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, allergies, immunity, heart function, fatigue and more. These glands can usually be helped through diet and supplements.
2. Reducing chemical toxicity:Although the water and air is polluted world-wide, the American food supply contains more chemicals than most other countries. There are 82,000 chemicals that we come into contact with each week. To defend against these chemicals, our body surrounds them in fat where they are stored. As a result we gain weight, feel fatigued, and are more susceptible to a host of other health problems. A nutritional cleansing program can help get rid of chemical toxicity in your body. As a result you will improve your overall health, have more energy and lose unwanted weight rapidly.
3. Increasing oxygen saturation to the tissues:A major factor in aging is called oxidative phosphorylation the bodys reduced capacity to process oxygen. This effects physical and mental health. With the proper combination of nutrition and Exercise With Oxygen Training(EWOT), most people can find an increase in vitality and overall well-being. EWOT and antioxidants can help fight off the effect of free radicals produced in the body.
4. Removing undetected neurological damage:Trauma starts early in childhood and progresses throughout life. Falls, auto accidents, contact sports or work injuries, etc. all can cause undetected nerve damage. Although these injuries may not seem serious at first, they can cause nerve damage. Remember, nerves control all functions in your body, and when damaged, can cause numerous health problems- not only pain or headaches.
This is why step 4 is:
Have your body checked for undetected neurological damage.
With these four approaches: removing the undetected nerve damage, eliminating the harmful effects of stress, improving oxygen saturation to the tissues and reducing chemical toxicity- we often get results from problems no one else has helped.
We look forward to helping YOU reach your healthcare goals!
