NEW HAVEN, Conn. - A juror on the panel that condemned a Connecticut man to death for a home invasion triple slaying says they kept a picture of the victims in plain view during the deliberations.
Juror Diane Keim tells ABC's "Good Morning America" the picture of the mother and two girls reminded them of why they were there.
Juror Herbert Gram tells ABC that he had a difficult time holding back tears during Monday's meeting with Dr. William Petit and Petit's mother.

Hawkins fired as Colorado football coach

BOULDER, Colo. - Dan Hawkins has been fired as football coach at the University of Colorado three days after the biggest meltdown in school history.
Athletic director Mike Bohn promoted longtime assistant Brian Cabral to interim coach for the final three games of the season, beginning Saturday against Iowa State at Folsom Field.
Hawkins was hailed as a "home run" hire by Bohn in 2006 after going 53-11 at Boise State.
