November 13: Friend of Sinners
Philippians 2 makes it clear that Jesus didn’t cling to his rights as God but made himself one of us. He was known as the “friend of sinners”. Imagine—God incarnate, perfect in every way, willing to be accused of being a glutton and drunkard. Jesus was willing to risk his reputation and being misunderstood because the people with whom he mingled so needed his mingling. How far is too far? Are we willing to risk our “good name” our “reputation” for the sake of those who need our mingling? Jesus broke taboos: touched lepers, healed on Sabbath, let a sinful woman anoint him, spoke to women in public, went to a tax collector’s home, etc. etc. (Philippians 2; Luke 7:33-35)

Meet - Worship - Serve
CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!! Engage in the holiday in a new way at the Hospital Church. We're excited about our Meet/Worship/Serve event on December 11 - a Sabbath experience combining worship and serving our community. Many service opportunities already have leadership, but we are seeking LEADERS for several other opportunities: Holiday Food Team, Homebound Member Visitation Team, Christmas Caroling Teams, Decorating Team, Childcare Team, and Set-up/Take Down Teams. CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS CHOIR!
As part of our Meet/Worship/Serve event, a choir of children - ages 4 to 4th Grade - will be singing at the Florida Children's Hospital the morning of December 11. Rehearsals will be held during 3rd service (11:30 am) on November 6, 13 and 20 in Room 205.

Adventurers, Pathfinders, and the fellowship dinner meet on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Marked for Life and Prayer Meeting will continue to meet every week.
