The mission of Gateway Christian Preschool, a nationally accredited facility, is to make a positive difference in the lives of young children so they will excel and be successful in life. In a loving and moral environment children are assisted in developing age-appropriate skills through play based learning. Children will learn to model important concepts such as taking care of property, showing respect for others, and learn limits of behavior through encoragement and natural consequences. We strive to provide an environment for all children to be free to express themselves and develop an awarness of their own learning style, and to support that development of personal growth and self confidence.

Gateway Preschool has joined with the Ronald McDonald House this year to help meet the needs of the many families that are served by the House. We have already collected hundreds of can tabs to donate; each month a student volunteer delivers our can tabs to the House. In November we plan to have a drive to provide items from their wish list. We have had some preschool mothers volunteer to supply and cook for the House residents. The Gateway Preschool family considers it a blessing to be able to partner with such a vital community member as the Ronald McDonald House.
