A & M Motorcycle Safety Course strives to provide a no threat, no intimidation class that coaches you on the proper basics of how to ride a motorcycle. Whether you have never ridden a motorcycle, been riding for 50 years or havent ridden in 30 years, we have a motorcycle training class for you. Our Rider Coaches are trained by the Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP) and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) to bring you the best possible learning experience. So, regardless if you are looking to get your motorcycle endorsement, gain your base sticker (DD2220) or just to see if motorcycling is for you, we at A & M Motorcycle Safety Course, can help.
A & M Motorcycle Safety Course curriculum is provided by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System.
Students must provide long pants, long sleeved shirt or jacket, full fingered gloves and sturdy over-the-ankle footwear. We provide helmets and protective eyewear (you can bring your own, DOT approved helmet if you want). Motorcycles are provided for the Basic Rider Course.
The Basic Rider Course provides basic entry-level skills for a new rider. BRC RiderCoaches coach riders to develop the physical skills of basic control that include straight line riding, stopping, turning/shifting, and then move on to more advanced skills like stopping quickly, cornering, and swerving.
To qualify for participation in the Experienced Rider Course, you must be 21 years of age or older and have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license. Riders must provide a street-legal bike that passes a safety inspection (T-clocs).
FRTP rider course providers have signed an agreement with the DMV to provide the same motorcycle knowledge and/or skill tests as the state. For more information or to download a copy of the Motorcycle Handbook, you can visit the FRTP website. A & M Motorcycle Safety participates in the FRTP program.
