Dr. Zondlo is certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Physical Medeicine and Rehabilitation.  He is one of the first physicains in the United States to be certified by the American Board of of Interventional pain physicians and is also one of the first physians to become certified by the World Institute of Pain as a fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP).

The practice is limited to internentional pain management.  Medication is prescribed during the treatment period when indicated.  The goal however is to stop pain and eliminate the need for ongoing medication. 

We maintain a fully equipped "in-house"  fluoroscopy suite.   Fluoroscopic guidance (x-ray visualization) is used  to facilitate accuracy of needle placement  and appropriate flow of dye is documented before any medication is injected.  Heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and EKG are monitored throughout the procedures. An intravenous catheter is routinely placed and supplemental oxygen is used if indicated.
