Hello and welcome to my website.
My name is Manuel M. "Manny" Chavez and I hope you will enjoy the photographs you view here. This site is a photographic representation of assignments that comprise my work.

I have spent my entire professional career working as a photojournalist– as a staff photographer for three major newspapers (most recently with the Houston Post) or as a freelancer shooting editorial and corporate assignments.
Following my move to Florida in 1992, I continued photographing for national publications and corporate clients. I have now added scenics, weddings (photojournalistic style), fine art, digital photography and beach portraiture to my bag of creative visuals.

Using 35mm, digital, and 6x7 format allows for a wide-range of photographic services and possibilities.
