Dr. Lata Sonpal is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of psychotherapy experience who specializes in past life regression and progression hypnotherapy. She received her training in regression and progression therapy -- and for seven years was an associate of -- the esteemed Dr. Brian L. Weiss, author of Many Lives, Many Masters, Only Love is Real, Messages from the Masters and Same Soul, Many Bodies. Dr. Weiss is widely regarded as the pioneering psychiatrist in the field of regression and progression therapy.
By using regression therapy, Dr. Sonpal facilitates her patients in going back in time to the roots and origins of problems, conflicts, issues, blockages, disorders, and obstacles that are causing distress in this life time. Confronting the roots of a problem can give an individual a greater perspective, allowing the individual to heal, move forward and begin making positive changes in the current life. Dr. Sonpal also uses progression therapy, which is similar to regression therapy. Instead of going back in time, it leads the patient forward in time, again, to look at the issues at hand from a larger perspective and to release hindering patterns of the past and the present so that one can move forward in this life time and live it to ones fullest potential.
Dr. Sonpal has treated children, adolescents, adults, elders and families using hypnotherapy since the 1980s and has been using past life regression therapy and progression therapy since 1995.
