A few years ago I planted a bush in the corner of my yard. I had great plans for how that bush would grow and look, to enhance my yard. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out & with last year's freeze the bush looked even worse this year. It was decided that the bush needed to be removed.

But what a task! That bush had grown to a size that made it's removal a major project. So much, that I really dreaded doing the work.

This past weekend, I decided the bush had to go. I began by trimming out few of the branches and moved steadily inward. Taking a few breaks, I finally got to the main branches and the trunk of the bush. I was amazed at how long the job was taking, but I stuck to the task. The roots were the last step in the job. After a few hours I was finally able to look back and see the removal of the bush & job I'd put off, completed.

This was a job, when viewed as a whole seemed "Un-Doable". But when taken in steps, became one that with a bit of patience and hard work, got done.

The next time you have a difficult task, try taking it in steps. You might find that by working in "One Piece at a Time" ~ that difficult project gets completed in no time at all!
