Grayton Beach, Florida is a laid back place with quaint historic cottages next door to modern beach homes. If you walk down one of Grayton Beach's well-worn roads, you get the feeling things haven't changed much in the last hundred-plus years since the town's founding. The Grayton Beach hiking trail is one of the most scenic in the area, circling sand dunes, skirting the coastal dune lake, and cutting right through a dense oak hammock. A public dock allows boating and fishing.

Grayton Beach State Park is located South of U.S. 98 approximately halfway between Panama City Beach and Destin. Take county road 283 south of U.S. 98, turn left at the stop sign on 30A (approximately 1/2 mile east of the intersection of C.R. 30A and C.R. 283 our entrance will be found on the right).
