The behavior of your dog is the most important factor in determining how much you will enjoy your pet. Puppies learn first from their mother, then their littermates and finally their behavior is established by their interactions with the adult members of the pack (that's you!). We use this natural method of communication in our training and modification techniques to strengthen the bond between you and your dog, enhancing a lasting and loving relationship through a kind yet firm approach. Our mission is to provide a superior quality of life for both owner and pet.

There is a wealth of dog training methods, theories and equipment. Opinions vary on the way animals are treated and trained, and to what degree we use rewards and corrections in the training process.

The dog training community is pretty much divided into several separate camps, that is, the purely food method, the heavy-handed domination method, and our method, which is an open-minded traditionalist balanced method using a broad range of techniques to suit both owner and dog. Dogs, like people, are diverse in character. What works for one dog may not necessarily work for another. We understand this, which is why our method of balancing all methods in such a way as to emphasize helping the dog learn and retain the required lesson is also known as - common sense!

Our school is often recommended by veterinarians, grooming shops and other pet industry businesses. Our success has been achieved through honesty, fairness and our commitment to the best practices of training methods. Our programs are structured, providing clear learning outcomes at each session, with all participants receiving personalized attention and assistance with their dogs and dog problems. Our devoted and dedicated instructors have been training locally from 25 to 35 years, training all-breeds and mixed breeds to various levels, including service and therapy dogs, both at our Group classes & Privately. We are proud to have been licensed and insured with Broward County, the City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County Parks & Recreation for over 20 years.
