"Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them, but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:13-14)
Precious Promise Academy has been a pillar of educational excellence in Fort Lauderdale for nearly two decades. We continue to provide quality education to hundreds of families within our church and community.
Our paramount focus has been to spread the Word of God on a daily basis. We are thankful to minister to families of many creeds and backgrounds. It is often said by many parents that they notice a warm and tender feeling when they walk through the halls of our school. We understand that feeling to be the constant presence of God in every classroom. You will hear the children singing, praying and reciting their Bible verses at all times of the day. Children express their love for God in a special way. Through daily devotions and Friday Chapel with Pastor Craig Mustain, we extend a Godly training influence of praise and teaching of the Word. As children grow in their knowledge and love for God, they share this joy with their families.

Many unchurched families are now walking in the ways of the Lord and have made Christian Life Center their home church because of their children. We are seeing families and new staff members being touched by the daily influences of the Lord in our environment. What a blessing it is to see our students, staff and their families attend our church for the first time! I praise God for those who effectively reach out to share and make a difference in the lives of countless families.

I must extend my thanks to the staff of Precious Promise Academy for their holy influence and love. The Lord has truly blessed us with qualified staff members who are dedicated to the spiritual and academic training of the children in our community.

The accelerated curriculum continues to show academic achievement in the preschool. And we are fortunate to have many teachers who have shown their dedication for over half a decade. Maintaining a classroom from 7:15 am until 6:00 pm for children ages 1-6 requires a person with patience, love, wisdom and the ability to provide a safe and organized classroom. Our staff exhibits a high standard of professionalism which is evident on a daily basis.
As we grow each year, it is important to maintain the beauty and functionality of our environment. The summer of 2005 was an especially busy time of the year as we welcomed the addition of brand new tables and chairs to each of the ten classrooms. We also installed new tile flooring and added a fresh coat of paint to all walls. Our new furniture and tile are color coordinated with each other. The primary colors are clean and cheery.
We also continue to utilize a highly advanced security system which monitors all activity on a 24-hour basis. The system comes with a state-of-the-art recording system that is completely tapeless. Not only does this minimize maintenence costs, it ensures that we are recording in a clean digital format. The cameras are located both inside and outside. They are aimed at key points throughout the campus in order to monitor all who come and go. Our parents enjoy that extra bit of security we offer to ensure them that their children are well protected.

After Hurricane Wilma, we were unable to operate for two weeks due to loss of power and utilities. Through the grace of God, we were able to compensate our employees and extend a courtesy to our valued parents by canceling their tuition payments for those two weeks. This action effectively lost two weeks of revenue.
However, we continued to put our hope and trust in God, knowing that He has ordained this school to reach the lost souls in our community. We stood strong knowing that God’s mercy and grace would see us through any situation. We are happy to report that we have seen our enrollment grow to over 170 since October. Our revenue has continued to rise, and we reaffirm our commitment to God’s will for our school and families.
We look forward to a new year full of ministry opportunities and growth for all involved in Precious Promise Academy. May each of us lead “…as a little child will lead.”
