Thanksgiving Baskets for the Needy
Please help our St. Vincent de Paul Society provide food for everyday needs as well as Thanksgiving baskets for those in need at the holiday.
With the holiday season coming soon, the St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Pantry has been depleted of non-perishable food for the needy in our community.
Shopping: When you prepare your holiday shopping lists, please think about getting some extra non-perishables for the holiday baskets such as cranberry sauce, pie crust mix and pie fillings, canned ham and other meats, fruits, mixed vegetables, canned sweet potatoes or yams and whole white potatoes as well as instant potatoes, bread stuffing, soup, jello, pudding, evaporated and dried powdered milk. We also need spaghetti sauce and spaghetti or pasta, peanut butter, jams and jelly, cereals and juice .
Turkeys: We will also appreciate donations of frozen turkeys for the Thanksgiving baskets. Bring any frozen items to the Sacred Heart Center, Tuesdays from 10 AM - 12 Noon.
Timetable: We need these items as soon as possible and definitely by November 19. Money: Financial contributions may be deposited in the ushers baskets outside the church after Mass, and by using your St. Vincent de Paul envelopes provided in your weekly envelope packages.
Please remember that the Society exists only with your generosity. Thank you and God bless you!

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
In the Rectory Chapel Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9 A.M to 9 P.M.
Eucharistic Adoration is a wonderful devotion that adores Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament. Through a deeper love and closer relationship with Jesus, you acquire the strength, healing and peace to make it through your pilgrimage of life. When the blessed Sacrament is exposed, someone should always be in attendance. A few more people are needed to complete the program. Please call if you are able to make a commitment. A commitment is an excellent way to say, "Thank You Jesus".
Please call Darlene Weber to schedule your holy hour at 954-450-0824.
