Fashion Focus Hair Academy opened its doors in 1988.
The Academy is located in beautiful Sarasota in southwest Florida on the Gulf Coast, just south of Tampa and St. Petersburg. A few minutes away are world-renowned crystal beaches, a great place for relaxing on your time off. The city of Sarasota is also known for its arts and culture and bayside/Gulfside natural beauty.
The Academy Directors are Byron Weintraub, Chief Executive Officer, and Richard Weintraub, Director of Education.

Our brand-new facility is spacious and handsome, with 4700 square feet of space devoted for education, offices, waiting areas, lockers and a student lounge area, The Academy provides a separate classroom for theory classes and demonstrations.
Our clinic floor, designed to create professional atmosphere, includes 70 styling stations equipped with disinfection containers, mirrors, chairs and lockable storage. A separate nail area is furnished with 12 manicure stations and seven pedicure thrones. There is also a six-bed skin care room fully equipped, including Micro-Dermabrasion and facial sculpting machines.

Our commitment to students of Fashion Focus Hair Academy is to enhance the level of their education so they will be successful in their career endeavors. We feel that extensive training in the fundamentals, technical abilities and "people skills" is the key to a prosperous career. With quality education and staff, and our modern facilities, we prepare our students with the confidence and skills necessary for their chosen career.

Fashion Focus Hair Academy is dedicated to provide basic and advanced training toward successful employment so that our graduates may make a significant contribution to our community and the beauty industry. The Academy will prepare each Cosmetology student to pass the State Board Exam and Nail Technician and Facial/Skin Care students for their certification.
