For more than thirty-five years the church has served a Thanksgiving meal at noon on Thanksgiving Day for those members and friends of the congregation who choose to eat together on this Pilgrim Feast Day.
Just before sunset on Sunday, August 22nd, First Congregational UCC participated in a public worship service at Pass-A-Grille, featuring music, speakers and a time of reflection.

Many of our church members are active participants in HELO's mission to provide Home Education Love and Opportunity to orphaned and abandoned children in Haiti.
Social Justice Retreat 2010
The Youth-led Worship Service on August 15, and the Haiti Benefit Concert featuring Bryan Sirchio were just two of the highlights of a weekend-long Social Justice Retreat held here at FCUCC for our senior high youth and young adults.
