Welcome to First Timothy Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida. Our church was founded on September2, 1960 by a small group of Christians, led by the late Rev. B.I. Wynn. The church was opened with Rev. Robert L. Smith as the first pastor. Not long after opening, the congregation had grown to fifty-seven enthusiastic members.

Today our church is as strong as it has ever been. Our current building resides on 8.3 acres on Biscayne Boulevard. We have purchased an additional 19.3 acres north of the church for future use and recently completed a major expansion of our church to support our growth.
