Fraud Alert: NCUA Scam Email - Tyndall has been notified that there is an email circulating that is designed to obtain your credit card number and confidential personal information.
The email looks as if it is from NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) and offers the recipient $50 for taking part in a survey. The email provides a link to a survey on a counterfeit version of NCUA's site; it asks for your account information so they can deposit the $50 to your account.
This is a scam. NCUA does not send emails requesting your confidential account information. If you receive a suspicious email, please forward it to us at alerttfcu@tyndall.org
