ES Series splits are designed primarily for outdoor installations, and are connected to an indoor air handler (or fossil fuel furnace) via refrigerant lines and control wiring. ES units utilize the ozone-safe-R410A refrigerant to meet the most stringent EPA requirements. Easily accessible controls and connections make this unit simple to install in a wide variety of applications. Heavy gauge metal cabinets are coated with poly paint for protection from the weather and elements. For outdoor installations that require an aesthetic touch, an optional decorative rock cover is available in four colors (brown, granite, gray granite, salt and pepper, charcoal Basalt). The ES Series split will provide exceptional performance and comfort for many years. And because there is no outdoor fan like ordinary air conditioners or heat pumps, the ES is significantly quieter.

The wide range of operating temperatures, compact size, reversible control box and piping enable the EW Hydronic Heat Pumps to be used in a variety of applications. These include pool/spa heating, radiant floor, snow melt, aquaculture, and process water installations. EW units can be selected as heating only or heating/cooling models (except the EWO20- heating only). A sophisticated microprocessor controls the pumps and compressor by sampling the entering water temperature. The controller enables the user to view all modes of the operation and easily adjust temperatures. All the fault conditions are monitored by the controller to ensure safe, reliable operation. The EW unit cabinet is fabricated from heavy gauge steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant polyester coating to provide years of durability and beauty. Gulf Power in Pensacola Florida was presented an engineering award for the hybrid geothermal heat pump system at the Marriott Springhill Suites hotel on Pensacola Beach, Florida. The closed-loop system provides heating and cooling for the hotel, along with hotel hot water, outdoor pool heating and ice machine operation.

30% tax credit for homeowners who install geothermal heat pump systems in 2009 and later years. For systems placed in service in 2008, the $2,000 limit still applies So, for example, if a homeowner pays $15,000 for a geothermal heat pump system installed in 2009, a tax credit of $4,500 could apply.
