Gorman Company was founded in 1939 as a plumbing supply business in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then we have grown from one location, to a company consisting of over 35 locations.
Through analysis of marketing and building trends, product knowledge and a customer service focus, we believe that we will continue to provide the right goods and service at the right price.
We also expanded into the well and septic business in 1959, and the pool business in 1971. Both of these expansions were to supply our customers with more variety and convenience. As Gorman grew, Hajoca Corporation in 1991 purchased Gorman and allowed it to become part of a national distribution company that operates in over 40 states.
Good fortune, timing and entrepreneurial leadership got us started. Hard work and listening to our customers allowed us to grow and expand. We will continue our committment to provide our customers with excellence in service and products, as we strive to be the best to ensure your success. Our partnership with our customers, suppliers and vendors is our priority. Together we can continue to grow.
Hajoca is currently celebrating it's 150th anniversary in supplying the plumbing community.
